Week 2 award:

PORTLAND, Ore. — No. 7 Oregon's non-conference struggles continued in Week 2, as increasing penalties and turnovers saw the Ducks resort to a walk-off field goal to edge Boise State as time expired.

Oregon produced several solid individual performances throughout the 37-34 win over Boise State — But nine penalties and two second-half fumbles undercut Oregon's significant advantages in quality depth and home field.

As expressed by former Ducks in our exclusive interviews with Oregon's 1994 Pac-10 Champions, a collection of talented players only make it so far — It’s a proactive investment in unity and accountability that makes teams successful.
