PORTLAND, Ore. — Heading into Week 10, it’s still anybody’s race. Same three-way tie for first place in the Big Ten standings: Indiana, Oregon, and Penn State remain unbeaten.
The Big Ten holds the AP No. 1 with Oregon in the top spot for the second week — the season’s first non-SEC team in the top ranking.
November will do more to clarify the Big Ten standings, starting with a ranked B1G showdown that’s clearly the national Game of the Week:
No. 4 Ohio State at No. 3 Penn State

Week 10 takes AP No. 1 Oregon to Michigan (5-3) for a chance to make a statement against the defending national champions in Big Ten action on CBS.
Unranked Michigan lost 21-7 to Illinois in Week 8; Michigan has also lost to unranked Washington in Week 6 and to then-No. 3 Texas in Week 2.
Seats are still available from our friends at VividSeats, and the game will be broadcast on plain old, over-the-air, antenna TV on CBS.
(The Big Ten TV contract includes broadcast rights for selected Big Ten football games on Peacock, the Big Ten Network, FS1, CBS, FOX, NBC, Paramount+ and the FOX Sports app.)

Gonna be some heartburn in the Big Ten digesting the outcome of this game — Either it's one-loss Ohio State riding a second loss down into the battle for lower CFP seeds, or it’s a Penn State loss breaking the three-way tie for the lead in the Big Ten race.
A two-loss Ohio State or a dethroned Penn State leaving the conference race tied between Indiana and Oregon is a previously unthinkable week for the Big Ten — but the SEC has plenty more conference cannibalism still looming as well.
Meantime, Ohio State at Penn State is clearly the national Game of the Week:
AP No. 4 at No. 3
Immediate impact on the B1G standings and title race
Implications in the eventual playoff seeding for the 12-team CFP
Chasing history
No. 13 Indiana at Michigan St: 330pm ET/230pm CT/1230pm PT | Peacock
Indiana posterized unranked Washington in Week 9 with the Hoosiers’ first 8-0 start since 1967 — Week 10 has No. 13 Indiana favored by a touchdown in the midweek Vegas line for their trip to Michigan State (unranked, 4-4).
Living in a world where both teams from the 2023 natty are unranked half a season later and Indiana challenges Oregon and Penn State in the Big Ten title race makes this one a super fun game to watch.
